WE HEAR YOU — A MOVEMENT
WE HEAR YOU—A MOVEMENT is a series of outdoor public events and various community engagements centering youth voices in the movement for climate justice, culminating in a large-scale immersive and participatory theatrical performance. Incorporating original music, dance, and verbatim text events presented by Georgetown University and the Swedish Embassy in Washington, DC, in partnership with Sweden’s Royale Dramatic Theatre. We Hear You draws inspiration from climate strikes, block parties, and environmental science. This womxn-led project features verbatim text drawn from the speeches of Greta Thunberg, originally adapted by Sweden’s Royale Dramatic Theatre.
